The living and dining rooms sit at the rear of the home,
overlooking the backyard, while the kitchen and master bedroom sits at the
front. The original open beamed vaulted ceilings are still in place, adding
height and volume to the living areas. The living room is anchored by Krisel’s
signature modernist fireplace with a dramatic tilted over-mantle offering a
nice clean midcentury touch to the room. West-facing clerestory windows accent
the wall, while a light soffit spans the south wall of the living room and ties
into the dining room.

pocket doors. An original pass-through connects the dining room to the adjacent
kitchen, which was last updated at some point in the 1980s. Raised-panel oak
cabinetry is topped with white tile countertops, and older but functional
appliances round out the room.
